“The inspiration for Bella Rose Bridal began in 2014 when I had the desire to step out on my own in business,” said Misty Matson, who opened that shop with her daughter, Emily. “My desire was to open a bridal store that provided a personal touch for each bride. At the time that I was looking for a career change, I knew I wanted to do something for women by women – something unique. I had exposure to the bridal world through my mother, who provided tailoring services to a variety of clients, including brides.”
“The goal at Bella Rose,” Matson said, “is to work closely with brides to find dresses that reflect their style and love story. I’m passionate about creating a welcoming, memorable experience during such an important moment in their lives. My daughter shares that vision. Our focus is on creating a personalized, stress-free experience while guiding each bride through her selection process.”
“I am proud of starting a business and seeing that business grow and thrive,” Matson said. “The main source of satisfaction comes from working with women, empowering them to realize their beauty, and, for some brides, to discover their confidence. Along with this welcoming approach, we offer a vast [selection of] dress styles and options for customization. We have cultivated relationships with several seamstresses in the area to allow brides options for alterations.”
The last decade-plus has been quite a ride for Matson, and there are no signs of stopping anytime soon. “We are always working on small changes in the store to elevate the overall experience,” she said, “and we have some exciting bigger changes that are coming soon.”
