Inaugural “Made Here!” Manufacturing Expo and Career Fair to Showcase Innovation, Opportunities

Manufacturers from across Northeast Minnesota and Northwest Wisconsin will come together on Nov. 9 and 10, 2026 for the inaugural Made Here! Manufacturing Expo and Career Fair, a two-day event celebrating the products manufactured in our region while introducing students, families, job seekers and community members to rewarding careers in modern manufacturing.

The Made Here! Manufacturing Expo and Career Fair is presented through a collaborative partnership between the City of Duluth, the Northeast Minnesota Office of Job Training (JET) and the Arrowhead Manufacturers & Fabricators Association (AMFA), working together with manufacturers, educators and workforce partners to strengthen awareness of manufacturing careers and showcase the innovation taking place throughout our region.

The public is invited to attend the free community expo on Monday, Nov. 9, from 4 to 6 pm at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC). Visitors will have the opportunity to meet regional manufacturers, learn about job opportunities, explore interactive exhibits and hands-on activities, see products made locally, and learn about the technology and innovation driving today’s manufacturing industry.

In addition to the public event, the expo will feature dedicated Student Day experiences, providing area high school students with hands-on learning opportunities and direct interaction with local manufacturers. Schools interested in attending are encouraged to contact their local Perkins consortium or event organizers to schedule their visit.
