Mars Supply has been named a 2026 Outstanding Disability Employer by the Minnesota Organization for Habilitation and Rehabilitation (MOHR).
The recognition honors companies that go above and beyond to support employees with disabilities, allowing them to thrive in the workforce.
“Employers recognized through MOHR’s Outstanding Disability Employer Awards demonstrate what is possible when workplaces intentionally welcome the talents, perspectives, and contributions of people with disabilities,” said Julie K. Zbaracki, president of MOHR. “These honorees go beyond offering a job. They build inclusive workplaces where employees are valued, supported, and given meaningful
opportunities to grow, contribute, and thrive.”
Udac nominated Mars Supply for the award after seeing the company’s commitment firsthand through its employment of Robert Webb, an integral member of the Duluth warehouse team.
“Robert contributes to the team by putting newly received inventory in the appropriate location, helping with digital order processing, and assisting with shipping product. He also does a great job keeping the warehouse in tip-top shape. His supervisor, Branden, personally trained him to use Mars Supply’s inventory management and fulfillment software, allowing Robert to expand his skills and responsibilities.
“Robert is a valued member of our staff, who dedicates his time and efforts to help the team succeed as a whole,” Branden said.
For Robert, the impact of his job goes beyond the work itself.
“I feel important,” Robert said. “Lets you know you belong somewhere.”
Robert has also built strong relationships with coworkers and participates in company meetings and social activities. His colleagues say his contributions have had an impact on them as well.
“Robert brings a new and fresh energy to our warehouse, inspiring me to push myself to be the best I can be,” coworker Steven Baker said.
“Mars Supply demonstrates what inclusive employment should look like,” said John Skiba, Udac Career and Life Coach Manager. “Robert is trusted with meaningful responsibilities, encouraged to grow and is valued for what he contributes to the team. Mars Supply understands that inclusion isn’t simply about being present in the workplace. It’s about contributing and belonging.”
