Essentia Health is now offering sports physicals for high school students preparing for the upcoming athletic season. These exams help ensure student-athletes meet the necessary health requirements for participation in school sports programs.
The sports physicals will be offered from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 4, at the Essentia Health-West Duluth Clinic, located at 4212 Grand Ave.
Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Appointments aren’t required, but are recommended. Please schedule through MyChart or by calling 218-786-3500. The physicals cost $57 without insurance.
Students are encouraged to complete their sports physicals early to accommodate busy pre-season timelines and ensure they are ready to participate in this year’s sports season.
A sports physical is valid for three years in Minnesota. Forms are available online at mshsl.org.
