The City on the Hill Music Festival returns to Bayfront Festival Park on August 7–8, 2026, bringing two full days of Christian music, community and connection to the Duluth waterfront. Set against the backdrop of Lake Superior, the festival continues to be one of the region’s most anticipated summer events.
Gates will open at 2 p.m. on Friday and 12 p.m. on Saturday, welcoming attendees from across the Midwest to experience a powerful lineup of Christian artists in a one-of-a-kind lakeside setting. This year’s lineup features Anne Wilson and CAIN as headliners, alongside performances from Leanna Crawford, Ben Fuller, Cade Thompson and more. The diverse lineup spans multiple genres, offering something for all ages and musical tastes.
City on the Hill is more than just a music festival — it’s a place for people to come together in faith, build community, and experience something meaningful. With a strong focus on family, the event offers a welcoming environment for attendees of all ages. In addition to live music, guests can enjoy a wide variety of food vendors, explore local businesses and nonprofit organizations and take part in a dedicated kids’ area featuring activities, bounce houses, and a sensory space designed for those who may need a break from the crowd.
Each year, City on the Hill brings together over 10,000 attendees, and 2026 is expected to continue that tradition of growth and impact.
The festival remains a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, with proceeds supporting the continuation and expansion of this community-focused event.
