And now for the news you’ve all been waiting for, the official announcement of who will be throwing the celebratory FIRST PITCH of the game. This year we are honored to have the game’s littlest hero, NLF Grant Recipient Reginald, throwing the first pitch! Reginald, with a little help from his family and friends, will be inspiring the entire stadium when he throws the first pitch while reminding us why we’re all there.

Reginald was diagnosed with a Stage 3 Malignant Rhabdoid Tumor when he was just 5 months old. Now, just about to turn 1 year old, little Reginald is finishing up his treatment, having overcome his diagnosis, surgery, chemotherapy and every other complication he has faced. We invite you to learn more of his inspiring story on our website here.
