The TSA (Transportation Security Administration) is currently seeking entry-level officers for part-time positions at Duluth International Airport (DLH). Transportation Security Officers (TSOs) play a critical role in maintaining the security of the traveling public. Comprehensive paid training equips officers to perform the duties necessary to secure checkpoints through the operation of high-tech equipment and screening of passengers in a friendly and professional manner.
Positions at DLH start at $19.52 per hour, and progress to $29.57 per hour after just two years. Part-time officers are eligible for full federal benefits right from the start, including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, paid time off, tuition reimbursement and more.
TSA accepts candidates of all different backgrounds and experience levels. Our basic TSO requirements include:
- U.S. Citizen or National
- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent certificate
- Able to pass a federal drug screening, medical evaluation and background investigation
- Available to work shifts at odd hours, occasional overtime and the ability to travel for training
