Pizza Lucé Celebrates 25 Years in Duluth by Investing in Downtown’s Future

Pizza Lucé Duluth is kicking off its 25th anniversary celebration by giving back to the neighborhood it calls home. On Monday, Oct. 26, the restaurant will partner with Downtown Duluth for a “Share the Love” fundraiser benefiting Imagine Downtown, the five-year action plan for downtown’s future.

From 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Pizza Lucé will donate 25% of dine-in sales when guests mention Downtown Duluth. Guests are also invited to a happy hour from 4 to 7 p.m., when representatives from Imagine Downtown will share updates on the plan and answer questions.

Pizza Lucé and Trampled by Turtles will also donate 100% of ticket sales from a private, invitation-only Trampled by Turtles concert hosted at Pizza Lucé Duluth on Friday, Oct. 30, to Imagine Downtown, extending its support for downtown’s future throughout the anniversary celebration.

For 25 years, Pizza Lucé has been a gathering place on Superior Street, bringing people downtown for food, live music, local art and nights with friends. These fundraising events connect that history with the restaurant’s continued commitment to a welcoming, thriving downtown.

“We’ve spent 25 years making memories with the people who walk through our doors — for a first slice, a favorite band or a night with friends,” said Paige Doty of Pizza Lucé Duluth. “Downtown is our home, and celebrating this anniversary means looking ahead, too. We’re proud to help support its next chapter.”

Imagine Downtown focuses on four priorities: quality of life and safety, housing, public space improvements and activation, and economic development. The initiative brings together residents, businesses and community partners to turn that shared vision into action.

“Pizza Lucé has given people a reason to come downtown and come back for 25 years,” said Kristi Stokes of Downtown Duluth. “By supporting Imagine Downtown, they’re helping build on that energy. We’re grateful they’re making downtown’s future part of their anniversary celebration.”

The fundraiser opens a week of Pizza Lucé Duluth anniversary events running Oct. 26 through Nov. 1, celebrating the food, music, art and community connections that have defined the restaurant’s first 25 years.
