Glensheen’s award-winning Concerts on the Pier returns for its 11th season in 2026 with an amazing new lineup of local musicians for all the fans and concert-goers out there, ready to hit the shore or pull up in a kayak or pontoon. Recently honored with the Initiative Award from the Depot Foundation Circle of Friends Program for helping create opportunities in the arts and culture of our region, Concerts on the Pier continues to bring the community together on the shores of Lake Superior. NEW! Concerts Early Access Punchcards
This year, we’re launching a new way for guests to experience concerts with VIP early access. While concerts are free to attend after 5pm, any early guests must pay an $8 grounds fee. Guests can purchase our early access package, valued at $100.00 for just $60.00. Package includes a punchcard to all 9 concerts for the summer, allowing you to skip the long line with early access to the grounds before everyone else to snag your perfect concert spot on the grounds or in the water plus early access to food trucks, and get a FREE 2026 Concerts on the Pier t-shirt and sticker included. Unique shirts that capture the experience
We’ve updated our shirt design this year in a way that truly showcases the lakefront concert experience. Inspired by our guests who watch the shows in the water, the flowing music symbolizes and directly encapsulates the waves of Lake Superior and the music booming across the water. In the design, you’ll see a paddle boarder, kayaker, sail boater, and our yearly guest that always comes in a small blowup inner tube and a colorful umbrella hat. Our logo has also been revised to align with our branding updates and will continue to remain the official Concerts on the Pier logo for years to come. Watercraft Launching and Shuttle Services
We are offering options for guests to register for a timeslot to launch their small watercraft on grounds, including Kayaks and paddleboards. Information for watercraft launch registration can be found here.
With limited parking, we are offering our free shuttle services this year giving people the ability to park on the UMD campus lot and shuttle down to Glensheen complimentary. Information about Shuttle services can be found here.
