The City of Duluth closed the northbound (uphill) lane of Third Avenue West as of May 12 to allow contractors to safely repair the brick paver street and sidewalk.
No detour will be posted, and drivers should use either Fourth or Second Avenues West to access further up the hill. Pedestrian access should be maintained during this work, though sidewalks may be constrained. This closure is expected to be in place through May 22.
