Juice Pharm officially celebrated its grand opening under new ownership this past week, marking a public milestone for a transition that has been in place for several months.
New owners Katie and Alex have been operating the business quietly as they settled into day-to-day operations, but the event served as their formal introduction to the broader community. Customers, local supporters, and nearby businesses stopped in throughout the day, creating a steady flow of traffic that reflected the shop’s existing following.
The grand opening ribbon cutting (Presented by the Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce) focused on both continuity and momentum. While ownership has changed, the core offerings at Juice Pharm remain consistent, with smoothies, juices, and acai bowls continuing to drive customer interest.
New Hours Coming Into Summer
In addition to marking the ownership transition, the event also highlighted upcoming operational changes. Juice Pharm announced expanded summer hours, moving to 8 to 5 on weekdays and 9 to 4 on weekends. The adjustment is intended to accommodate increased seasonal traffic and provide more flexibility for customers throughout the day.
The extended hours position the business to better serve both regular customers and increased foot traffic during the summer months.
The grand opening also featured a pop-up appearance from Underwood Coffee, which provided coffee service during the event. The appearance comes ahead of Underwood Coffee’s planned move into a downtown Duluth location later this summer.
Their participation added an additional draw for attendees and highlighted ongoing collaboration among local businesses.
