Benedictine Westwood Celebrates Grand Reopening Following Renovation Project

Benedictine Westwood will celebrate the completion of a significant renovation project with a Grand Reopening Celebration on Tuesday, July 28, from 3 to 5 p.m. at its campus located at 925 Kenwood Ave. in Duluth.

The event will mark a new chapter for Westwood, Benedictine’s independent and assisted living community that has served Duluth-area seniors for more than 26 years. The renovation focused on redesigning the building’s first-floor common areas to create brighter, more open spaces that foster connection, comfort and community among residents and their families.

“Our goal was to create welcoming spaces where residents can gather, build relationships and enjoy daily life in a comfortable, vibrant environment,” said Brian Pattock, Executive Director. “These updates reflect our commitment to providing exceptional living experiences while continuing to meet the evolving needs of those we serve.”

The Grand Reopening Celebration is open to residents, families, community members and prospective residents. The event will include a blessing, a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce and tours of the newly renovated spaces. Attendees can enjoy drinks, hors d’oeuvres and desserts and participate in a gift giveaway.
